Honda announced its mid-term business plan for China and it includes, and it includes unveiling of two new concept cars at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show previewing two future production models for that market. Based on the teaser sketches, the cars in question appear to be a sedan and a hatchback. Later in the year Honda will also launch a hybrid lineup including the CR-Z, the Insight and the Fit Hybrid in China.

As for the mysterious new models, thinks of them as the Chinese versions of the Accord and the Civic. Honda says they are designed based on customers need in China, whatever they are.

The Japanese car maker is rapidly adapting the Earth Dreams Technology, Honda’s innovative next-generation technologies. The engines of all Honda brand vehicles will be renewed by the end of 2015. In this way, Honda will strive to realize the highest fuel economy in each vehicle category in the Chinese automobile market. What’s more Honda is currently preparing for local production of hybrid models in China, pretty much locking down the green car market in the old country.

Also at the Bijing show, the new NSX will be introduced to the Chinese market. It will be on display at the Acura booth, alongside the ILX and the RDX which will be introduced to the Chinese market this year
