2012 Villa d’Este Concours Winners Announced

The 2012 edition of the world’s fines and most prestigious car show, Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Lake Como, Italy, comes to an end as the jury and public cast their votes for the winners of this year’s event. This magnificent 1933 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS you see above has been named Best of Show, and rightly so. What’s interesting, the BMW Zagato Coupe that made a lot of noise this year, didn’t win jack!

That said, they haven’t yet announced the best concept car. It may have a chance there. After all, Lake Como is sort of Zagato’s home turf. Check out the list for the winners of different Trofeos, and after that enjoy a few shots from some of the best cars on display at the show:
