Steven Tyler’s Hennessey Venom GT Spyder On Dyno

Hennessey Performance released a video of the first Venom GT Spyder strapped to a dyno machine to make sure it does make what Hennessey says it makes. The V8 powerplant in this car has three power settings; 800, 1,000, and 1,200hp. The first Spyder is reportedly bought by Aerostmith’s front man Steven Tyler. So this is Steven’s car. John Hennessey himself has been working on this particular car to make it ready for delivery in time for the American Idol finale.

Hennessey Venom Spyder looks much, much cooler without the engine cover. The engine and all its bits and pieces actually look better than the body of the car. If we ever bought one of these we’ll make sure to ditch the hood immediately!
