2013 Mazda MX-5 Facelift Leaked

We know that Mazda is developing an all-new platform for the next MX-5 and planning on making a completely different car for its next generation, but that’s going to take a while. Which is why they are giving the current MX-5 Miata yet another facelift to keep it fresh for at least another year. The new-look MX-5 has a sportier front-end and new wheels.

The main difference between the 2013MY MX-5 and the car you can buy now is the front bumper. The new one looks more discrete. The smiley face is not completely gone, but that smile is more like a nice grin now. So the new grille and some alloy wheels, as well as a slightly revised interior with black instrument cluster, is all you get.

That is alright, because nobody buys the MX-5 because they like the way it looks. People love this roadster because it’s just such a damn good sports car. It has a certain charm that you simply cannot find in anything else. Hope the all-new model gets more of that.
