This is what the new Renault Clio, or the Clio IV, looks like. Renault brought a camouflaged version of it – the RS version – to the Goodwood FoS, but before they have a chance to remove the camo and show the car to the world the way they planned, someone leaked the picture on the internet. The new Clio is pointier and more aggressive than the car it replaces. Not sure about the front-end design, but the side profile looks pretty cool.

So, looks like the Astra hatchback is going to have a serious rival there. As for the technical details, well, seeing as Renault will soon release the official data on the car we better wait for that. But we can tell you that the next Clio RS (RenaultSport – the hot hatch version) will get a turbocharged engine and a dual-clutch transmission option. That’s a pretty unique combo for a hot hatch. It should be quite interesting.
