Mazda recently unveiled the sedan version of the new MAzda6 at Moscow Motor Show. So they are bringing along the wagon version of the car to the 2012 Paris Motor Show (September 29 to October 14). The 2013 Mazda6 Wagon, or Estate, will showcase the European specification of the car, and of course the first estate car spawned by KODO design language.

Both the sedan and the estate Mazda6 on display in Paris will feature the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 clean diesel engine which is Euro 6 compatible, and can be had in either Standard Power or High Power versions. When it goes on sale by the end of the year, Mazda6 will also be available with the SKYACTIV-G 2.0 petrol engine.

SKYACTIV engines, body, chassis, and suspension  – and also the presence of the company’s unique brake energy regeneration system, i-ELOOP – means the new Mazda6 is focused mostly on fuel efficiency. But don’t despair. Mazda promises they haven’t compromised on handling and the fun factor. It will drive and feel like a proper Mazda.
