McLaren has already let us know that at this year’s Paris Motor Show they will be unveiling an incredible new car, something they refer to as the next chapter for the company. Now they released this video,, which sort of confirms earlier speculations this mysterious new model. The teaser video is not revealing at all, but that silhouette certainly belongs to a hyper car.

This new McLaren is indeed the spiritual successor to the legendary F1, allegedly called the P12.

Rumor has it that this car will have a hybrid powertrain with over a 1000 horsepower. It is, after all, the replacement for one of the fastest production cars the world has ever seen. It has to live up to the expectations.

Will it be faster than the Veyron? It’s not likely, mainly because the Veyron was developed form the ground up to be a 400+ km/h car. This isn’t. The car McLaren P12 will set its sights on will be the new Ferrari F70, the replacement for the Enzo.
