We are used to seeing camouflaged test cars on the road, but this must be the first time a test mule is spotted in a video game. This is a camo’d Corvette C7 found recently in the Gran Turismo 5 game. It’s not drivable yet, more of a demo thing, but the C7 will eventually be included in GT5.

The real 2014 Corvette will be revealed in full at the 2013 Detroit Motor Show, sporting a new logo. But we probably won’t have to wait until then, as it will almost certianly leak out weeks ahead of the event. This GT5 thing will further increase the risk of leakage.

The new ‘Vette will come with a brand-new V8 engine tailored exclusively for the new sports car, featuring tech stuff like direct injection, Active Fuel Management and continuously variable valve timing . It is rated at an estimated 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque in the normal models. The Z-spec versions will get way more than that. GM also reckons this engine will do 26 mpg.
