Prior to McLaren P1’s official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show the company released a couple of teaser videos, including this one boasting the car’s aerodynamics properties. The car itself didn’t star in the ad, because it was a teaser, but it did show us its silhouette through an amazing play of lights. It looked pretty simple, but it wasn’t. This video they just released shows the enormous effort they put into making the video.

McLaren P1 is the British firm’s new hyper car, the spiritual successor to the F1. Technical specs of the car are yet to be confirmed, but the word is it has over a 1,000 horsepower and top speed of over 400 km/h. It won’t be getting the world’s fastest car title back from the Bugatti Veyron, but it’s going to be a close second.
