Rolls-Royce Now Offers Customized Flying Lady

Rolls Royce bespoke department, who is responsible for making sure each Roller leaving the factory is built based on the customer’s desired specs, found a new detail to work on. They are now offering different versions of the Flying Lady hood ornament.
The disappearing ornament is the symbol of Rolls-Royce and you can’t have it modified to, for example, put your wife’s face on it. But they do let you choose the finish. You can have your Spirit of Ecstasy made from a new illuminated polycarbonate, which actually looks very cool – at least until it’s illuminated.
Those looking for something more ‘old-school’ can have the ornament in either solid silver, or gold plated. The latter, we reckon, would become hugely popular with Arab customers.
This whole thing makes the standard stainless steel Flying Lady, an exquisite piece of craftsmanship in its own right, looks kinda cheap!
