Following yesterday’s leakage, Bentley releases the the official details and pictures of the new 2014 Flying Spur ahead of the car’s Geneva Motor Show debut. The new Flying Spur is the fastest and most powerful four-door Bentley ever produced, even though it is mainly designed for comfort and refinement.

The new Bentley Flying Spur is powered by the most powerful version of the firm’s famous 6.0-litre, twin turbo W12 engine with 625 PS (616 bhp) and 800 Nm of torque. Mated to a new ZF eight-speed transmission and continues four-wheel-drive system, this engine makes this large limousine incredibly quick,  with a 0 to 62 mph time of 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 200 mph (322 km/h).

The best thing about the Flying Spur is that it makes 200 mph feel like 60 mph. It is that refined. That is partly due to a thorough sound proofing with acoustic glass and what not, and partly because of the new shape which is more aerodynamic than before. The air suspension system and 9-inch wheels also contribute to the car’s excellent ride quality.

Speaking of the looks, while the new car is still recognizable as a four-door Continental GT, it has its own character, with those LED day-time running lights, dipped headlights and taillights, and new muscular rear haunches.

Being a super deluxe car, Bentley Flying spur comes with a whole host of amazing features, including touch-screen infotainment, mobile connectivity including Wi-Fi, a Rear Seat Entertainment suite and a new hand-held Touch Screen Remote, eight-channel, eight-speaker audio system with Balanced Mode Radiators or a 1100W Naim audio system.
