Everything about the new Corvette Stingray is interesting, even news of it having a crash. This blue Stingray is the first ever C7 to be involved in an accident, and it appears to be the same test car that was spotted a couple of weeks ago in Arizona, where the accident happened.
Not sure about the cause of the accident, but it sure is going to be expensive to repair. The Stingray has a lot of carbon fiber in its body, and it’s also packed with lots of technology features. The bill is going to be substantial.
From Digital Corvettes:
“Driving through some mountains in Arizona about 30 minutes ago. In some tight switchbacks when we passed this ’14 Vette. Cop had just arrived. Car is in worse shape than looks. Hit guardrail on left and bounced back to rocks.”
