Skoda Rapid GreenLine Range Launches in the UK

Skoda Rapid GreenLine 600x386 at Skoda Rapid GreenLine Range Launches in the UK

Skoda will reinforce its Rapid range in the British market with the launch of the new Spaceback tourer version, and the GreenLine versions of both sedan and estate. Skoda Rapid GreenLine models are powered by 1.6-litre TDI CR 90PS DPF diesel engine, and they are sub-100 g/km cars, CO2-wise.

The TDI engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission in these models, which help achieve the excellent fuel economy of 74.3mpg. With that fuel consumption and 99 g/km CO2, the Skoda Rapid GreenLine models cost next to nothing to run. What’s more, running costs are further reduced because each is in VED Band A.

Skoda Rapid GreenLine comes with a number of distinctive features, including 15-inch ‘Carme’ alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres, front fog lights and sunset glass. Inside there is a height-adjustable driver’s seat, air-conditioning and a Maxi-DOT trip computer. These are in addition to the standard kit, which includes heated door mirrors, height-adjustable head rests and reach-and-rake adjustable steering wheel.

As for the pricing, Skoda Rapid GreenLine (sedan) starts from £17,535, while the Spaceback (estate) starts from £17,195. First customer deliveries expected early in 2014.
