Ram Trucks New Styling Previewed in Commercial

Ram Trucks New Styling 600x367 at Ram Trucks New Styling Previewed in Commercial

Either intentionally or by accident, Ram revealed their future styling direction by putting a rendering of a sleek new model in a new commercial they’ve made. It was about time Ram Trucks did something about the dreary old design of their vehicles. Not that the new one is very different, but hey.

The look previewed in this rendering shows a new approach with a fancy chrome grille with a unique design that is a modern take on the traditional crosshair grille and slimmer headlights. The truck retains its muscular look with broad shoulders and a massive bugle in the hood. The whole things looks a lot more aerodynamic than the current cars, which is not saying much, as current Ram Trucks have the aerodynamic efficiency of a block of flats.

Some say the image shown in the commercial is the face of the new Dakota pickup truck, going into production in 2015. However, a dodge spokesperson told Autonews that the images are “intended to show what’s behind designing, engineering and building great trucks.”
