Jaguar announced its lineup for the 2014 Mille Miglia (1000 miles) historic rally, and as always their lineup is full of priceless classics and glamorous celebrities. This year the lineup includes cars like XKs, C-types and one D-type, and celebs such as Jay Leno, Amy Macdonald, and Jeremy Irons.
Jay Leno will be driving the famous ex-Sir James Scott-Douglas 1951 Jaguar XK 120 roadster, while Amy will be behind the wheel of an XK140 once owned by successful British racing driver David Hobbs. Irons, meanwhile, will drive ex-Jim Swift racing XK120 roadster.
As for other remarkable entries, author David Blakeley and super model Jodie Kidd will share Jaguar XK120, which was driven by Oscar-winning actor Daniel-Day Lewis in the 2013 event, while music and TV stars Elliot and Erin Gleave will be in charge of an ex-Duncan Hamilton racer registered LXF 731.
Furthermore, three Jaguar C-type racing cars are set to enter 2014 Mille Miglia driven by AC/DC lead singer and car afficionado Brian Johnson, ex-Le Mans winner Andy Wallace, and Belgian singer-songwriter Milow.
Fantastic classic Jags, beloved celebrities, and the amazing Italian countryside… come to think of it, Mille Miglia might very well be the awesomest motoring event ever!
