It feels like a long time ago when Toyota first announced the TRD Pro Series versions of the Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner, but finally two of them are ready to be launched. The 4Runner and Tacoma will hit the showrooms in August, with the Tundra following in fall.

For those of you who don’t know, Toyota TRD Pro Series are specially-equipped versions of the firm’s ordinary SUVs and pickups, turned into awesome off-road fun machines by TRD (Toyota Racing Development) using a host of high-performance parts.

Common features in all Toyota TRD Pro Series include Bilstein shocks with remote reservoirs, TRD-tuned front springs, unique front grille, floor mats, shift knobs, and black wheels. The Tacoma gets extras such as TRD exhaust system and 16-inch black beadlock-style, while the 4Runner gets 17-inch matte black TRD alloys and aluminum front skid plate with “TRD” stamped in large font, as well as Entune infotainment and navigation.
