Epic Combo Spot: Ferrari LaFerrari and Lexus LFA

LaFerrari LFA 0 600x316 at Epic Combo Spot: Ferrari LaFerrari and Lexus LFA

Apart from being hugely expensive super cars, LaFerrari and Lexus LFA do not seem to have much in common. One is a mid-engined V12 hybrid, the other a front-engined V10 GT. But they do share on key factor, and that is desirability. On a scale of 1 to 10, these cars get a solid 72!

So it is quite a big occasion to see the LaFerrari and Lexus LFA together, let alone being able to examine them up close. It’s actually better than that, because the LFA here is a limited Nurburgring Edition which makes it extremely rare.

Both the LaFerrari and Lexus LFA also have interesting British personal number plates. The Ferrari has F70, which was the LaFerrari’s development codename, followed by what is probably the owner’s initials, and the Lexus V10 NBR, which is a reference to the car’s engine and the fact that it’s a Nurbrugring edition.

The Nurburgring treatment means this LFA is lighter and slightly more powerful than normal models, and comes with a bespoke aero kit including front splitter and winglets and a fixed rear wing.
