If you’ve never seen a Ford Super Duty, they are pretty big. And if you need evidence to support that, just look at the kind of flames it produced when a 2016 prototype exploded during a test drive in Death Valley. The thing erupts like a volcano!

This is by far one of the coolest car fires we’ve seen recently. And we’ve been seeing them every other day. It seems the more technology engineers pack into cars, the more fire-prone they become. It is not just trucks, either. A lot of new and expensive sports cars have fallen victim to spontaneous combustion this year.

As you can see, the flames totally consume this Ford Super Duty prototype and vaporize it almost completely. What’s staggering is the speed of destruction. It’s like the poor truck was made of paper. Thankfully, this incident didn’t claim any causality.
