Toyota FT 1 GT6 0 600x344 at Toyota FT 1 Vision GT Concept Revealed in Full

Following a very intriguing teaser a few days ago, Toyota now reveals the FT-1 Vision GT Concept for Gran Turismo 6 video game. Designed exclusively for the virtual world based on the real world FT-1 concept, the Vision GT is said to be a hint at what the next Supra may look like.

Seeing as Toyota FT-1 Vision GT is a purely fantastical car, the designers were allowed to let their minds roam free and come up with anything they like. So they created a cool-looking GT car garnished with all sorts of racing paraphernalia. It almost looks like something Toyota would have raced in the Japanese Super GT series.

The FT-1 concept on which Toyota FT-1 Vision GT is based has been given super wide arches, chunky side skirts, a massive rear diffuser, an even more massive GT rear wing, and very prominent front splitter. It looks really good for a video game, but we doubt they would ever make a life-size model of it like most car makers did with their GT6 vision concepts.

The more pressing issue here is what will become of the FT-1 concept in real life. Will Toyota make an independent new Supra? What’s the deal with the hybrid sports car they are jointly developing with BMW?
