Responding to the increasing demand for custom pickup trucks that can do more than just hauling cargo around, Chevrolet announced the launch of a new Sport edition of the Colorado. Revealed at State Fair of Texas, the Colorado Sport demonstrates the “lifestyle-oriented versatility” of the new truck.

One of the biggest highlights of Chevrolet Colorado Sport is the adjustable GearOn Accessory System. This enables you to move bigger and more ungainly cargo around with the truck, and is especially handy if you are an outdoorsy sort of person and goes mountain biking, or kayaking. Also included are easy lift-and-lower tailgate and rear bumper assist steps.

Chevrolet Colorado Sport also features Chevy MyLink with a built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot and segment-first applications of Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert. Additional accessories on the truck include: Assist steps; Cargo rings; Splash guards; Tiered storage; Bike rack; Cargo divider; and Wheel lip moldings.

2015 Colorado is available in extended- or crew-cab models, with a choice of a 2.5L four-cylinder or 3.6L V-6 engine. Prices start at $20,995 for a four-door extended cab model.
