The new Lamborghini Asterion plug-in hybrid concept car was unveiled only a few hours ago in Paris and we’re sure that over the next few days we will be seeing more of this strange new Lambo. But for those who cannot wait, here’s some rendering showing the car in various different colors.

The car Lamborghini unveiled in Paris is blue, which is nice, but not a very Lambo-like color. Yellow or green suit the character of Lamborghini cars much better, even if the Lamborghini in question is a big fat hybrid that looks like an old Lotus.

You can see the Lamborghini Asterion here in Giallo Orion or yellow, Verde Ithaca or green, Baloon White which is obvious, and Grigio Telesto or grey. Maybe it’s just us, but the car looks more alive and interesting in Giallo.

And in case you have already forgotten, Lamborghini Asterion is powered by a hybrid powertrain  which consists of a 5.2 liter V10 petrol engine from the Huracan and no less than 3 electric motors. Together they make an astonishing 910 horsepower and form an ingenious four-wheel-drive system. The Asterion has the ability to travel in zero-emission electric mode for up to 50 km before the petrol engine kicks in. In sport mode the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
