Porsche GTS 0 600x372 at Porsche GTS Family at 2014 L.A. Auto Show

This year at the Los Angeles Auto Show Porsche’s booth was all about the GTS models, a four-car lineup built to offer something extra to those who are not satisfied with the standard 911, Cayman, Boxster, and Cayenne. The Porsche GTS models all showed up in red with black accents.

At the head of the group we have the Porsche 911 (991) Carrera GTS, a hotted-up variant of the Carrera with a tweaked and uprated flat-six engine, delivering 430 horsepower. The extra oomph will have a noticeable effect on the performance, dropping the 0-60 time to 4 seconds, but most people will buy this Porsche GTS for the way it looks. You get 20-inch black wheels, wide fenders, and chrome tailpipes, among other changes.

The Cayman/Boxster duo also gets the GTS treatment, although they are a bit older than the 911 GTS. Just like that car, these two benefit from new black accents on the exterior, more pronounced aero parts, and a slight boost in the output of their flat-six engine to 340 horsepower.

The Cayenne is the latest member of the Porsche GTS family, packing a V6 3.6-liter twin-turbo with a V8-like power output of 440 horsepower, delivering a 0 to 60 time of around 5 seconds. The mighty SUV also comes with a bespoke aero kit, contrasting black accents on the exterior, and a set of 20-inch wheels complemented with sport lowered suspension.
