One Thousand and One Nights is the name of a collection of Arabic and Persian stories and folk tales dating back to the 18th century. In 2012 Rolls-Royce used this name on a very special edition of the Ghost they had made for the Gulf region, and one of these cars have now been spotted in… where else than Dubai.

Unlike most other special edition Rollers designed for Arab countries, Rolls-Royce Ghost One Thousand and One Nights has a very dignified look. There is no trace of any 24-carat gold accents here, and no elaborate marquetry is found inside the cabin either.

Rolls-Royce Ghost One Thousand and One Nights features a plain brown paint work garnished with an exclusive coachline with Middle Eastern symbols and the phrase “Alf Laila wa Laila” – meaning one thousand and one nights – written in Arabic. The rims are also very subtle and rather featureless, but still very beautiful and classy.

This Rolls-Royce then is aimed at the more sophisticated Arab businessmen; those who have read more than one book.
