It is often said that hard-core car lovers are like Star Trek fans. And while there is some truth to that argument, it is still unfair to compare petrolheads to Trekkies. Car people are much, much cooler. Take their TV shows for example. The Trekkies get weirdass cartoons, we get stuff like The Classic Car Show, starring the likes of Jodie Kidd.

The Classic Car Show is a brand-new car series soon to be aired on Channel 5 in the UK. The show celebrates “the iconic cars, personalities and glamorous events of the classic car world,” but don’t think for a minute it’s like the Antique Roadshow for cars.

The Classic Car Show is presented by classic car journalist and founding Top Gear presenter, Quentin Willson and supermodel and racing driver, Jodie Kidd. I mean, the thing is a must-watch for the mere presence of Jodie in it, but Quentin also brings a lot to the party as he is one of the most renowned car gurus of all time.

The show also benefits from lots of A-list celebrities cameos, sharing their love for classic metal with the viewers. Some of the names you can expect to see in the 13-episode series include Russ Lindsay, Bruno Senna, Sir Stirling Moss,, and David Gandy.
