Spanish car maker, and a division of Volkswagen Group, SEAT announced the pricing and specs of their hot new estate, the Leon ST Cupra 280 in the British market. Based on this information, the high-performance wagon will cost you £28,505 for the manual version, and £29,860 for the one with the DSG transmission.

Both versions of the SEAT Leon ST Cupra 280 are powered by the same 2-liter turbocharged 280 PS engine that allows for a 0 to 60 mph sprint in 6 seconds (manual 6.1 seconds), and a limited top speed of 155 mph. Meanwhile, the wagon body style makes the car fairly practical, offering a load capacity of 587 liters, expandable to 1,470 liters upon folding the rear seats.

SEAT Leon ST Cupra 280 is also distinguished visually from normal model by the virtue of its 19-inch CUPRA alloy wheels with titanium finish, red brake callipers, rear spoiler and diffuser housing two oval end chrome tailpipes, and large air intakes at the front. The highlights of the interior include leather steering wheel and Alcantara sports seats plus SEAT Media System and DAB radio.

You can now place your order for the Leon ST Cupra 280, but deliveries won’t commence until March.
