One of the biggest highlights of this year’s Geneva Motor Show for ordinary people, those who don’t care about all the super cars and sports cars, will be the new Skoda Superb. It’s an affordable mid-range saloon they can actually afford, so what we have here is probably the most relevant rendering we’ve featured in a long time!
What you see here is an unofficial preview of what the high-performance Skoda Superb RS may look like, should the Czech company green lights its production. Drawing inspirations from previous RS Skodas, X-Tomi has turned the standard Superb into something with a bit more joie de vivre.
Apart from the lively color, this virtual Skoda Superb RS benefits from a body kit with larger air intakes, flared wheel arches, and a rear diffuser, complete red accents and dual tailpipes. One would imagine red is also used to liven up the drab cabin in addition to sports seats and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.
As for the powertrain, hot Skodas rarely disappoint in terms of performance. But we would like to something with at least 300 horsepower. It is well within the reach of Skoda engineers and would make the Superb RS, if they ever build one, a tremendous proposition.
