Following a heavy teasing campaign Skoda finally revealed their new Superb during a small ceremony prior to the car’s official debut at the Geneva Motor Show. The 2016 Skoda Superb comes with striking new looks and many high-end features.

Design-wise, 2016 Skoda Superb is not particularly pretty or sophisticated, but it boasts a very good look for a Skoda. The main characteristics of this design include the “razor-sharp tornado” line across the length of the car, sculpted and chiseled bonnet and trunk lid, distinctive head and tail lights, and shorter overhangs compared to the previous model which make the car look more compact.

Clever packaging means the new Skoda Superb has a lot more room inside the cabin for the occupants, plus a segment-leading 625-litre boot capacity. The car does not disappoint in terms of features and equipment either, packing stuff like (depending on the grade and options) adaptive Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC) including Driving Mode Select, three-zone air conditioning, electric sliding and tilting panoramic roof, heated seats, wireless heated windscreen and heated washer jets, KESSY automatic locking and starting system, and… You can specify the SmartLink infotainment system which includes MirrorLinkTM, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2016 Skoda Superb comes with a lineup of efficient, VW-developed direct-injection turbocharged engines based on MQB technology including five TSI petrol and three TDI common-rail diesel units. They can be paired with dual-clutch transmission and available Haldex 5 clutch all-wheel-drive.
