Yesterday at the Geneva Motor Show Bentley showed us a new and very intriguing concept car, previewing what could potentially be a future Bentley sports car. Now independent designer X-Tomi, a man of greta vision and imagination, has come up with the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Convertible, a drop-top version of the concept car.

It is a bit of a stretch, you would allow, to imagine a convertible version of a concept car with very slim chances of production. But it costs nothing to dream, and when the end result looks so amazing, it might even increases the chances of the Speed 6 becoming a real thing.

Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 Convertible is rendered here as a 2+2, whereas the hardtop is a two-seater, a sort of focused, performance-oriented Bentley designed more for Brands Hatch than Knightsbridge. Still, the idea of a lightweight, open-top Speed 6 with a V8 or a W12 tingles every car lover’s tingly bits!

Even if Bentley has no plans for the Speed 6 itself, the looks and the features of the concept could be used as inspiration for a new, refreshed version of the Continental GT which is starting to really show its age.
