Rather quietly Porsche unveiled at the AutoRAI 2015 a new edition of the 911 Targa. The Porsche 991 Targa 4S Exclusive Edition is a uniquely specced version of the open-top sports car designed exclusively for the Netherlands.

Limited to just 15 units, Porsche 991 Targa 4S Exclusive Edition is a work of the German automaker’s Exclusive department. The main highlights of the package they have come up with for this car include a fantastic Gulf Blue paint job, gloss black exterior accents and graphics, smoked lights, 20-inch FUCHS alloys also in black, and LED taillights. The iconic Targa bar remains silver.

Inside the cabin the Targa 4S Exclusive comes with vintage design seat upholstery harking back to the 911s of the 60s, dark leather, contrast stitching, and illuminated side sills with the car’s full names inscribed on them. These are all nice features, but they don’t really justify the car’s horrifyingly high price tag of 223,230 Euros. And that’s the one with the PDK transmission. The manual version costs 229,500 Euros!

Porsche 991 Targa 4S Exclusive Edition is based on a normal Targa 4S which means it has 400 horsepower. If you don’t really dig the special color and limited edition plaque, you are far better off with the 430-hp Targa 4 GTS.
