McLaren Automotive announced their lineup for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, revealing that their bespoke arm, McLaren Special Operations (MSO), is going to be pretty busy at the event. They will be honoring famous race-winners with special models such as McLaren P1 Prost.
Designed to honor the legendary French F1 driver Alain Prost, McLaren P1 Prost is inspired by the patriotic French livery of the helmet worn by four-time Formula 1 world champion. As such, the car features a white body with blue graphics and red highlights.
Other highlights of McLaren’s static display at McLaren House, adjacent to the famous Goodwood House, and in the Supercar Paddock, include a rare and completely awesome McLaren F1 GT ‘LongTail’, a special limited-run 675LT honoring Denny Hulme featuring Silica White bodywork and black stripes, and a McLaren Orange 650S model paying homage to the founder of the company, Bruce McLaren.
In addition to all of the above, Goodwood festival goers will also get to see the limited edition 650S Le Mans is inspired by the McLaren F1 GTR, the developmental XP1 with a roof-mounted snorkel, front wing louvres, and unique wheels, and the McLaren P1 GTR.
