After showing us what the new Alfa Romeo Giulia looks like as a Sportwagon, X-Tomi Design has now come up with two more renderings turning the sports sedan into a coupe and a convertible. And they both look pretty awesome.
You know what these are, don’t you? Alfa Romeo Giulia Coupe is the new Alfa GT and the Spider the new Brera Spider. Those cars were among the most beautiful and most desirable in their respective classes back in the day, but as it used to be the case with they suffered from rubbish mechanicals. That won’t be a problem for the new Giulia or any other car spawned from its seeds.
We know that Alfa Romeo has an ambitious expansion plan and these cars could indeed be on the cards. But whether or not they will be based on the same underpinnings will remain to be seen. The Alfa Romeo Giulia has a fairly sophisticated rear-drive chassis with optional all-wheel-drive capability, and it comes with a range of seriously good engines. These are expensive stuff which means the cars that result are going to be expensive.
Still, these renderings showcase the great potential of Giulia’s design. It looks good as a wagon, coupe and convertible, and we reckon if they ever build an Alfa SUV based on this car, it’ll be superb as well.
