The handsome Subaru Levorg GT estate, or Sport Tourer, has finally been confirmed for the British market. It will be launched nationwide in September, giving the estate segment a proper jolt with its unique looks and versatile mechanical features.

As the spiritual successor to the Legacy Tourer – a car known for its understated design, sheer toughness, and incredible value for money – Subaru Levorg GT takes things up a level by offering a more complete package. Granted, it is no longer understated, but it is properly good-looking. And it may have lost some of the toughness, but at least it is now more comfortable for day to day usage.

The car will launch with an all new 170 PS 1.6 litre DIT Boxer petrol engine mated to he latest version of Subaru’s 6-speed Lineartronic transmission and the renowned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. This nice and efficient package should provide you with enough grunt to negotiate any kind of rough ground one might encounter while rambling in the British countryside.

Boasting best-in-class interior space, Subaru Levorg GT also comes with a lot of technology features such as blind spot detection and rear vehicle alert, factory-fit infotainment system, bespoke sports seats and premium materials.
