So we showed you a couple of previews and then some footage from the actual show. Now it’s time to take a look back at the Porsche Rennsport Reunion 2015 and browse the official gallery of the event, see what was what.
Before we hit the vast gallery, let’s quickly remind ourselves of the classes and cars at this year’s Porsche Rennsport Reunion, which was the fifth edition of the annual event. Group 1 included Porsche Club of America race cars, while Group 2 brought out the great vintage stuff, cars like Gmund Cup 550, 550A, RSK, RS60-61, 2000 GSGT (Dreikantschaber), Abarth Carrera, 356, 904-4cam, and Porsche specials.
Group 3 consisted of the beautiful Eifel Trophy 911 (911 up to 2.5 liter), 911TR, 911ST, 914, and 914/6. After that it was time for some vintage Le Mans action with Group 4 and Weissach Cup 904-6 cyl., 906, 910, 907, 908, 908/2, 908/3 (8 cyl. & 6 turbo), 909, and the biggest highlight of the event, the 917 (normally aspirated and turbocharged).
Group 5 went sports car again with Carrera Trophy 911 (over 2.5 liter), RSR, 3.0 RSR, 2.1 Turbo, 934, 935, 936, 924 GTS, and 924 GTR, while Group 6 had all the modern stuff like Stuttgart Cup 956, 962, GT1, WSC, RS Spyder. 964, 993, 996, 997 GT Cars. Finally, Group 7 included the Rennsport Reunion Cup with the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge.
