Alpine Vision Convertible Is a Great Idea

Alpine Vision Convertible 600x334 at Alpine Vision Convertible Is a Great Idea

One of the biggest highlights of this year’s Geneva Motor Show, without a question or shadow of doubt, is going to be the new Renault Alpine Vision concept. This car is headed into production next year, and here’s what it looks like as a convertible.

Now, before you get your hopes up, we have to point out that the gorgeous Alpine Vision Convertible you see here is not a real thing. It’s a rendering penned by a great designer to give us a taste of what the new Alpine could be like as a convertible. It’s like a really good-looking Porsche Boxster, isn’t it?

It is too early to rule out the possibility of Renault ever releasing an Alpine Vision Convertible. But it’s a slim chance they would ever consider this model because the Vision is a revival of the old 110 sports car, and therefore it should only come as a coupe. That said, if the marketing department sees an opportunity here for making a few bucks, they could consider it.

We sincerely hope they do, because the idea of a drop-top Alpine sports car with those looks and the turbocharged four-pot Renault has promised for this bad boy is just too enticing to ignore.
