Bentley’s exclusive department, Mulliner, announced the launch of a series of bespoke new options for the magnificent Bentley Flying Spur. The list includes many cool things, from new styling features, to new comfort and convenience options inside the cabin.

The main highlights of new Mulliner options for Bentley Flying Spur include a refrigerated bottle cooler between the rear seats, painted veneers, Mulliner quilted leather, sterling silver atomisers and hide-trimmed stowage boxes. It some of these sound like overindulgent and unnecessary – like the hide-trimmed boxes, for instance – well, that’s Mulliner is all about: excess.

The refrigerated bottle cooler is a nice addition though, and an option all cars should have. Of course in Bentley Flying Spur the refrigerator comes with storage for a champagne bottle in a canted position, a bottle stopper and two bespoke champagne flutes, all secreted behind frosted glass with bright chrome detailing. The atomisers used to spray a fine mist of water or perfume is another cool feature and a work of art unto their own. But we just can’t see the significance of those hand-crafted stowage compartment.

Geoff Dowding, Director of Mulliner explains “Mulliner offers customer the opportunity to personalise their car over and above the one million plus combinations already available to them. Creating bespoke features is about understanding our customer needs and requirements and the Flying Spur is a perfect outlet for us to interpret their ideas.”
