As usual, Rolls-Royce Abu Dhabi hosted a lavish party to introduce a brand-new model to their discerning customers. The model in question this time is the new drop-top Rolls-Royce Dawn and the venue for the launch party the magnificent Saadiyat Beach Club.
Two Rolls-Royce Dawn models were on display at the launch event, one in white which is the most popular color in Arab countries for, well, any car really, and one in a very lovely royal blue with a beige soft-top. But the cars were only one highlight of the event, as they also showcased the latest bespoke option by the Goodwood-based company as well as other luxury goodies such as Givori phones, IWC watches, and Montecristo Cuban, things that go well with a Roller!
As the most luxurious and most refined drop-top cruiser in the world, Rolls-Royce Dawn comes with a specially-designed soft-top featuring individually tailored French Seams for smooth operation and look. It goes up or down electronically in just 22 seconds. The car also gets a bespoke audio system designed for alfresco motoring, and a smooth twin-turbo 6.6-litre V12 powertrain with a power output of 563bhp or 420kW and a torque rating of 780Nm or 575 lb ft. The car even gets an Automatic Cruise Control to make the job of driving less tiresome.
