KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition “Full Carbon” Unveiled

KTM X Bow GT Black Edition 0 600x381 at KTM X Bow GT Black Edition “Full Carbon” Unveiled

Don’t feel bad if you missed the new KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. For one thing, the show is chockfull of new several thousand horsepower hyper cars and they tend to obscure everything else. And the new X-Bow is so dark, you would need night vision to detect it anyway.

The reason for they’ve given KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition such a dark theme is because this is the first version of the car to be feature an excessive amount of carbon fiber. The company even calls it “full carbon” which is a big leap, because you can’t make everything from the material.

That said, the Black Edition GT gives that a good shot as it gets not only a monocoque carbon chassis, but the complete underfloor, bonnet, wheel arches, and all the body panels are made from carbon as well. Also standard on this special model is 18” and 19” BBS rims, a unique sticker kit, comfort seats with color coordinated stitching and “BLACK EDITION” logo on the headrest, a suede leather steering wheel with 12-hour markings and matching stitching, all-aluminum machined gear and hand brake levers, and multi-media interface with rear-view camera.

KTM X-Bow GT Black Edition comes with black anodized sport exhaust system, a quick shifter, and a factory-tuned 320-hp engine. They are only making five units of this model, priced at a whopping €99,000 before tax.
