Since it’s birth, Jaguar F-Type has been surrounded by celebrities hired by the company, often at great cost, to pretend they love it. The latest of these celebs is Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez, and she’s trusted with the job of promoting the new Jaguar F-Type SVR high-performance coupe.

They took Rodriguez to the Nevada desert and strapped her in a juicy red Jaguar F-Type SVR in which she clocked 201 mph. To achieve this record the actress relied on the car’s 575 horsepower supercharged V8 engine and its fast-paced acceleration. Meanwhile, in terms of looks, the car and the star made each other look a lot hotter.

Michelle Rodriguez said: “Driving this car was insane! I’ve now broken my personal speed record in the beautiful Jaguar F-TYPE SVR. Reaching 201mph felt amazing, the car drove really smoothly, all my corrections were minimal, I was super focused, and it really reacted in all the right ways. I don’t think I’d ever go this fast without a professional driver seated next to me, but oh man, it was an incredible feeling.”
