The coolest, handsomest, and sportiest version of the Ford Mustang has been given a thorough upgrade for its new 2017 modelyear, increasing the appeal of the already super desirable pony car. Shelby GT350 and its more violent R variant come with all the options perviously offered as separate packages.

So you get the Track Package as standard, meaning your 2017 Shelby GT350 boasts aluminum tower-to-tower brace; high-downforce decklid spoiler; engine oil, transmission and differential coolers; MagneRide damping system. That enables you to make better use of the car’s 500-hp flat-plane 5.2-liter V8 engine.

Mind you, if you want enhanced convenience, you still have to go through optional packages and order the Convenience Package which adds leather-trimmed power sport seats in place of the manual Recaro buckets, and the Electronics Package which adds the SYNC 3, voice-activated navigation and nine-speaker audio system.

Another highlight of the 2017 Shelby GT350 is the new paint jobs it is available with, including Ruby Red Metallic, Lightning Blue and Grabber Blue. The latter works specially well with the GT’s standard aero kit and, with the white stripes, makes the car’s muscles look more prominent.
