Custom McLaren 675LT MSO 0 600x397 at Spotlight: Super Unique McLaren 675LT MSO

McLaren Newport Beach has been home to a great many unique models, but none more so than this McLaren 675LT MSO. This one tops all the others in terms of specs and visual drama, though we have to say it is not exactly the coolest.

Granted, the “McLaren Special Operations” livery and all the exposed carbon fiber bits do make this McLaren 675LT MSO one-of-a-kind. But be honest, what do you think of the guy who drives around town in a car dressed like a racing machine? You think he is a bit of a dork, don’t you? It’s the same story with BMW M Performance cars and those rare AMG Mercs with elaborate kits. It’s just not cool.

At any rate, this super-duper McLaren 675LT MSO features a number of McLaren Special Operations extras, including an extended carbon fiber aero kit which besides the front splitter, rear diffuser and the LongTail rear spoiler adds a roof snorkel and fender vents in exposed carbon as well as a custom engine cover. Then there’s the livery which consists of carbon on white complemented with McLaren Orange accents.

The interior is predominantly black Alcantara, garnished with orange upholstery, stitching and accents, and the usual carbon fiber trims. The engine remains the standard 675 PS 3.8 liter bi-turbo V8 as in the regular LTs.
