There is no way a car can compete in today’s market without offering the spoiled customers a full host of different variants, editions and packages. So only a short time after the debut of the stock model we now get the SEAT Ateca X-Perience from the Spanish car maker, an edition that puts the emphasis on the SUV’s “adventurous character.”

SEAT Ateca X-Perience gets its name from the Driving Experience drive selector located on the centre console, utilizing the stuff like 4Drive traction control, Haldex four-wheel-drive system, and Hill Descent Control function to offer the driver a choice of Normal, Sport, Eco and Individual modes. The off-road worthiness of the X-Perience is also reflected in its looks, what with the high-profile tyres and bespoke 18-inch rims, black wheel arch mouldings, non-scratch paintwork and extra ground clearance.

Though a show car at this stage built for the Paris Motor Show, SEAT Ateca X-Perience has a production 2.0 TDI 190 PS engine with 400 Nm of torque mated to a seven-speed paddle-shift DSG transmission and packs many high-tech features such as Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Departure Warning Assist and the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system, as well as Traffic Sign Recognition System, with Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, a 360-degree camera with birds-eye view, Park Assist for parallel parking or angle parking, High Beam Assist and so on.
