Gallery: Bentley Bentayga Looks Dapper in Gold
We have brought to you the Bentley Bentayga in a number of truly interesting colors, including matte black with the one and only Stealth Edition. We even showed you how it looks wearing some aftermarket rims. But now we reckon we have found the nicest Bentayga in the world, and it’s residing at Alain Class Motors.
Having years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of what works and what doesn’t in this market, the guys at Alain Class ordered this Bentley Bentayga in a metallic gold finish which, to all intents and purposes, is the perfect paint work for this machine. Normally we don’t approve of gold cars on account of them being catastrophically ostentatious. But that is a no-issue with the Bentayga. It’s a massive Bentley SUV with a lot bling. It is already hella vulgar. Panting it gold has actually made it a bit more elegant.
As plush and as luxurious as Bentley Bentayga looks on the surface, we’re afraid the underpinnings are far less glamorous. Sure, the car has the Continental’s W12 engine, but the rest of the drivetrain is lifted straight from an Audi Q7. It also has the Continental’s face, which would have been fine if the rest of the car had an original, interesting design. But that face is stuck on a generic box-like SUV body and presented as world’s most prestigious utility vehicle. And a lot of people have fallen for this trick. The Bentaygas are selling like hot cupcakes with thick frosting.
