The new Lexus LC 500 has no claims to be a red blooded sports coupe capable of rivaling the Germans in this segment. The Japanese did that with the RC F and regretted it. Still, a pre-production LC500 was spotted the other day at the Nurburgring, looking petty sprightly around those corners. Could it be that the LC is more than just a pretty face? Is it possible something that heavy could actually be nice to drive?

Well, that remains to be seen in the independent testing that will come later. For now let’s enjoy the look of Lexus LC 500 and have a listen to its not so shabby exhaust note:
