Hyundai i30 Wagon reveal 600x315 at First Look: Hyundai i30 Wagon

So following the early preview they gave us a few weeks ago, Hyundai has now revealed the first official image of the new Hyundai i30 Wagon ahead of the car’s premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. This is still very much a teaser, but it does gives a great look at the proportions of the family-oriented car. And it’s looking good.

The 2018 Hyundai i30 Wagon is quite possibly the most European car the Korean car maker has ever produced. It looks sleek, it is the right size, it is a hatchback-turned-wagon which is exactly what a lot European families want when it comes to transport solutions, and it’ll come with efficient engines and impeccable quality… at least for the first five years of ownership. But then no one keeps a Korean car for more than that.

What will give the Hyundai i30 Wagon an edge over its real European rivals, most of them have nicer badges than it, will be the value for money. The Hyundai will offer more kit in the base model compared with equivalent Volkswagen or Peugeot or SEAT, and the higher you go in the trim levels the more sophisticated equipment you will find. So yes, this is a space well worth watching if you are shopping for you next family car. Stay tuned for the official specs and details over the coming days.
