The fast pace with which the automotive industry and market are storming forward means that you don’t really have much time to get used to a particular make and model before it gets replaced with a new one that offers ‘more’ of the same. That is the case with Renault Captur. It seems like only yesterday that the brand-new model was introduced. Now they have come up with a new and improved one.

Set for official debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show, the second version of Renault Captur is not a whole lot different from the original, but it comes with subtle improvements and new features to keep it competitive in the unforgiving B-segment crossover segment in which it has done well so far, selling 215,670 units in 2016 in Europe alone.

As for the highlights of the new Renault Captur, it retains the previous model’s part piece which is the two-tone paint job but extends the catalog with fancy new colors including Desert Orange and Ocean Blue, and a new roof color, Mercury Silver. The interior can be finished in any of the following themes: Ivory, Blue, Caramel, Red, Satin Chrome and Smoked Chrome. Full LED “Pure Vision” headlights is another notable feature, along with upgraded grille with chrome strip, new skid plates, one new 16-inch rim (Adventure) and two 17-inch wheels and a fixed glass roof depending on the trim.
