So here it is, the first Saloon car by Porsche.  They took so long to actually finish it, even though the first impression is not likely to be so good! Because it is not a pretty car at all. But it’s got a lot of character.

It is somehow like Cayenne, a first by Porsche which is ugly! exactly what Cayenne was. But that was a huge commercial success and you can expect that for the Panamera as well. You see, these kind of cars don’t sell because of the way they look, it’s not much about performance either. People buy them because of the their image, their character. So the Lizard looking Panamera will find its customers easily and probably will lose them more easily!

Panamera is 4970mm long, 1930mm wide and 1420mm tall. According to web (not official) the basic model features a 2.6liter V6 developing 300 hp, while S version has a V8 400hp and the Turbo variant comes with a twin-turbocharged V8 with as near as makes no difference 500hp. All models will get Porsche Dual Clutch Gearbox better known as PDK (Porsche Doppel kupplungsgetriebe) which is some how better than normal boxes!
