This is Ford’s kinetic design at peak! If they put it into production as you see it above, then its simply the best looking family hatch back ever made. Yes, it’s a bit toyish, but we all had enough of boring family cars. Ford is gonna liven up things a bit!
The first generation of Ford Focus had a ground braking design for its time, and that made it very very popular. Unfortunately for the second and third gens, Ford deliberately made it more conservative so it attracts older more mature customers. But now, according to these images published by Auto Express, the lunacy is back!
It’s not just about the show though. The backstage is full of garnish as well. Focus has always been a brilliant car to drive, specially in hotter versions. The new one will be no exception. It’ll come with a range of turbocharged EcoBoost engines covering everyone’s needs. From a 1.0 liter four-cylinder with 89bhp or 108bhp to a 1.6 liter with 148bhp or 178bhp and a 2.0 liter with 168bhp or 197bhp. The 1.6 is also available in diesel with 128 bhp. New Focus can be had with manual, auto or Ford’s new Powershift dual-clutch gearbox.
New Ford Focus is set to come in 2010, expect some new on-trend features like start-stop system, panoramic roof and advanced multimedia system for the option list.

Oy Mike! It’s a matter of taste really, and they didn’t make it like that anyway! But honestly, isn’t it better than the actual version they unveiled in Detroit?!

Oy. Checked your vision lately? That front end is a mess.
