Probably one of the most important cars to be launched in 2009 is the successor of Ferrari F430. The car which is so good and so perfect, it makes the task of making its replacement a very hard job for Maranello locals! Codenamed F142, it’s been scooped before wearing 430 disguise, now though there are some artist’s impressions, which… doesn’t look so good to be honest!

The car will get a new V8 engine which by imagine, would be in the middle, we cannot be sure if the new engine will be bigger and more powerful than the current one in the 430, because of all the fuzz about co2 emissions and all that crap, but even if Ferrari has to compromise on power, this being them they would make it up by lightweight materials or other tricks so the car remain a proper Ferrari.

Other new features on the new prancing horse include the dual-clutch gearbox straight outta California and possibly the Formula1-derived KERS technology.
