Ferrari recently confirmed their hybrid plans for future which is not very good news to honest but that’s then, for now we all have something to get excited about: The new Ferrari F450 is coming! The car will make its debut at IAA in summer replacing the F430 and it’ll be a whole new kettle of fish!
These are pictures are the latest shots of the F450 (codenamed F142) showing it testing its new features disguised in 430 Scuderia clothing. That’s where things get twisted! As you see in the pics new Ferrari features a new rear diffuser (at least it looks different!) The pictures also suggest that it has central exhaust pipes above the diffuser like the Suderia, but then because this is a Scuderia cover, we can’t be sure of that.
F450 also has longer wheelbase than the 430 and it’ll be shorter and wider. This new mid-engine GT will be powered by a 4.5 liter V8 developing around 550 hp and will use the same seven-speed gearbox as the California. It is also possible that F450 features the KERS technology.
The new Ferrari F450 will be on sale in 2010 and then at the end of the year, the Spider will arrive and a bit later than that, the stripped out track-focused version will be introduced.
