Well, looks like the UAE is the destination for car manufacturers these days to test their upcoming model. Maybe they think no spy photographer follows them there, but they’ve underestimated the number of car nuts in this region! Earlier today we had the Mercedes CLS and now this, the new generation of Hyundai Sonata which is due in 2011. Both scooped by readers of local auto sites.
2011 Hyundai Sonata is a totally new car. They have re-build the car from scratch and fortunately the result seems to be quit good. This pictures are revealing enough to give a clue about the whole shape of the car. It is leaner and much more elegant than the previous generation, and that curvy roof is its party piece. It’s more like a coupe now, than a boring mid-range family saloon. It’s not a very beautiful car frankly, but it’s quit good for its class.
The interior is also redesigned completely. Every single part is new and amazing. apparently it’ll get a Volvo-style air-condition control system with vertical vents. Cool! And the quality of used materials are also seem to be improved significantly.
